Grandma Scrotum's Wisdom and Advice - making websites for women

Grandma Scrotum's Guide to Making Adult
Websites for Women

Step 4: Know how to sell your Sponsors

As mentioned above, you need to engage your female surfer’s mind when selling to them. A simple hardcore banner may not be enough, especially when the surfer may possess ad-banning software. It’s accepted wisdom that you need to sell harder to women, as they’re more critical when it comes to porn, and in general they’re used to summing up the pros and cons of an item they’re about to buy.

You need to text-sell the site, and the best way to do this is tell your surfer what they’ll get for their money. If they know what they’re getting, and they’re still interested enough to click, you’re well on your way to making a sale. Thus, it helps to know what your sponsors are offering. Visit the tour pages or sign up for a trial membership, and make a note of what’s inside. Use this info as a selling point e.g. “I really liked the couple in gallery 34”. Most 4Women paysites offer more than just pictures and movies – make sure you tell your surfer this.

Porn sites for men usually text-sell their banners by using (ahem) “provocative language” i.e. “watch 3 lesbo sluts get fucked up the ass and love every minute of it!” This kind of text is very male, and female surfers tend to dislike it. If you want to talk dirty, make sure you’re being respectful to women (i.e. don’t call them a slut, unless they want you to! I like the words "temptress" and "vixen" rather than "slut" - it's more positive). Remember, if they’re using porn it means they’re either ready to fantasise and use their vibrator, come up with a few ideas for later, or screw their man in front of the screen, so talk dirty in that direction.

Otherwise, text-sell in a friendly manner. Take your surfer aside and let them in on a personal secret. Make it sound like a review. In fact - write a review and use it as content!

Sponsors

Below are the women's paysites available to promote. Those in bold are those who are offering a webmaster referral payment (my kickback for this site ;D ). By the way, I REALLY REALLY recommend you promote For The Girls - it's the best of them all, you know. Yes, I AM biased.

Note: There are a number of other sponsors out there who say they have sites "for women" but I have chosen not to include them here. I've done this either because they simply didn't sell, or they are faux gay sites or badly researched attempts at women's porn. You are of course free to promote them if you wish, however I suspect you will be wasting your traffic. I've been doing this for nearly 5 years, and I've whittled down my sponsor list to these good sponsors.

The next page features "non adult" sponsors - all very useful!
